Palace Culross is an ancient village about 10 miles away.
It is one of the many interesting historic places to visit from our holiday cottage.
It has been featured on the T.V. programme "Coast" and is packed with character such as the roof pan tiles, heritage colours, crow steps, quaint windy roads between distinctive buildings.
It's fortunes came from exporting salt and coal from it's shores to the Low Countries,
returning with ballast of terracotta pan tiles.
You need to bring a camera to prove to your friends back home how wonderful the place is.
