D.V.D. & C.D library for holiday cottages near Edinburgh

A selection of films and C.D's  are in the cottage
but if there are any specifics, particularly off the following list, just ask.


Loads of old classic foreign language films, mostly with subtitles.

Also kid’s, modern classics, current films and so on.

The DVD’s are distributed between 2 cottages,
 but any film can be requested for your stay if you tell us in advance.

Oban gateway to the Scottish Islands

Oban Caledonian MacBrayne ferries to the Islands, including Mull


As the cottage is 10 miles north of Edinburgh a day trip takes about 3 hours each way.
Scenic, sometimes snow capped mountains.

Viaduct at Glen Ogle is worth looking out for.


Old fashioned corrugated garage just after the viaduct on the way up.





The pier has a marvellous fish stall with langoustines, dressed crab, own smoked salmon ( tasters) lobster tails, prawn sandwiches etc.
